This is an E. I think it is the open E string with your thumb so quiet, the only really to the detriment of the last five channels. The sound is all in the rhythm of the scratch. And the tone of the amp and guitar. In your amp, turn the bass down and the highs and mids all the way. Use the bridge pickup the guitar (the switch all the way back).
